What Are a Pro Jungler's CS/min and Kill Participation? Oner's Real Challenger Data, AI-Analyzed

8 min read

Jungle is the role that's always torn between "should I farm or should I move?"

Clearing camps grows your CS, but every second spent farming is a second you're not ganking or taking an objective.

So what do a pro jungler's CS/min and kill participation actually look like? Let's check with the real Challenger games of Oner, T1's jungler.

We pulled real data from his public account (오 너 #111, Challenger) via Riot's official API and ran it through the kind of AI analysis LoL2LLM is built for. Every match ID is verifiable.

Source: Riot Games official API (Match-v5, League-v4), ranked solo/duo (queue 420), patch 16.13, snapshot dated July 11–12, 2026. Account is the Challenger-tier (2,303 LP) public account "오 너 #111." This is a quotation of public game data and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Riot Games.

The headline: CS/min is 5.5–8.1, kill participation is 35–61%

Line up his recent four jungle games and CS/min ranges 5.5–8.1, kill participation 35–61%, and damage share 17–26%.

CS/min sits a band below a laner's (7–10 for top or mid). That's not weak farming — it's the structure of a role whose farm competes for time with ganks and objectives.

In exchange, KP lands in a high band closer to mid. Compared to top lane (17–58% in our other guide), jungle clearly trades farm for map-wide involvement.

Even in these four games, a 12-kill game shows up once as a win and once as a loss. A jungler's individual stats don't translate straight into the result — and that's the main point here.

Case study 1: won the jungle duel, and won the game

Match KR_8294351515 (32.0 min, win). Here's the comparison to the enemy jungler (Lee Sin).

Control wards6

52 more CS than the enemy jungler and roughly 1.7x the damage. KP is 61%, and he still placed 6 control wards.

Farm, map presence, and vision all high at the same time — this is what a jungler carrying a game looks like.

Case study 2: same 12 kills, but this one was a loss

Match KR_8294613337 (27.1 min, loss). Here's the comparison to the enemy jungler (Fizz).

CS (CS/min)190 (7.0)194 (7.1)
Gold15,20614,014
Damage30,21119,455
Control wards7

Again 12 kills, roughly 1.5x the enemy jungler's damage, more gold, and 7 control wards. His individual numbers are about the same as case study 1, if not better.

And the game was still a loss. The enemy Fizz also had 13 kills, so even winning the jungle-vs-jungle duel, the result came down to dragons, herald, baron, and the state of the other lanes.

Case 1 and case 2 are the same champion with the same 12 kills, and only the result flips. That's the clearest proof you can't grade a jungle game on KDA alone.

What AI analysis surfaces that's jungle-specific
Three things a jungler can copy today

To see how far your jungle numbers are from a pro's, export a game with LoL2LLM and ask the AI to "compare my CS/min, KP, and damage share to a pro jungler benchmark, accounting for game duration."

For concrete targets, see the companion guide "beginner stat targets by rank."

Frequently asked questions

What is a pro jungler's CS/min?

In real data from T1 Oner's public Challenger account (four games), jungle CS/min ran roughly 5.5 to 8.1. That's lower than top or mid (7 to 10), but it reflects farm competing for time with ganks and objectives, so a lower number is not a problem in itself.

What is a good kill participation (KP) for jungle?

In the same data KP ran 35 to 61%, a high band close to mid lane. That's a band above top lane (17 to 58%), reflecting that jungle trades farm for map-wide involvement.

Does a high jungle KDA mean you win the game?

Not necessarily. The same Oner Qiyana with 12 kills appeared once as a win and once as a loss. Objective control such as dragons, herald, and baron decides games more than a jungler's individual KDA.
